*She shook her head* I think she'll find reasons...very good, obvious reasons. Similar to the ones Simon might have for hating whatever...this is *She was referring to them in general. She sighed, letting go of him*
She has your eyes. Very pretty eyes...

"Jus' be nice t' each other is all I ask," he said, running a hand up her back.
"Xie xie, darlin'," he said, kissing her forehead. "I was always a fan o' my eyes too." He winked at her at that.
"An' you let me worry 'bout yer brother. Yer all grown up an' can make yer own decisions."

That I am. *She smirked to him slightly* And we have things to finish...*She returned the wink before moving towards her door*
But later...want to meet the friends *She smiled to him* Jayne?

He laughed a little at that. "Girl, that is jus' plain dirty. I do believe I'm rubbin' off on you."
But later...want to meet the friends
"Well, let's go meet 'em then," he said, moving with her as she walked towards the door.
Jayne?
"What is it, darlin'?" he asked.

I'm not broken...right? You don't think I'm broken? *She asked quietly, fidgeting a little with the fabric of her dreess, her eyes downcasting to the floor again*

Jayne lifted her chin up so that she was looking him in the eyes. "I'd never think that," he said, kissing her quickly on the lips. "Yer whole, like I said."
He placed his arm around her shoulders, giving her shoulder a squeeze.

*She smiled, pushing herself up on her toes so she could enjoy the kiss more. Once they parted, she shifted, leaning into him, wrapping an arm around his waist with a content smile on her face*

Jayne opened the door to her room and stepped into the hallway, removing his arm from her shoulders, grabbing onto her hand this time.
"Y'ready t' go meet 'em?"

"For dinner, yeah. For permanent? I don' know. Need t' talk t' Mal 'bout that. I thought about it but I'm not sure if he'll be happy about it."
"I'd like 'em t' stay. They don't have much of a life here. Just pickpocketin' and thievin'. It ain't fair to 'em."

Mal wouldn't leave in cold. Just talk to him...he'll be fine in the end. Might just deck you few times for not tellin'...
*She smiled, making her way out of her room and back towards the dining hall*

"I think he'll fight it for awhile but if Kaylee or 'Nara are behind it, then he can't not say no," Jayne mused. He knew it was true too.
"And I expect him to try and hit me. Mal ain't exactly one to be able t' beat me up."

C.M. stood in the doorway, leaning against it, a cigarette in his left hand. He gave the girl no reason why he was violating his own rule, allowing Jayne to see him. Perhaps he considered him a man he could trust to keep the Secret considering he was never really on the best of terms with Captain Mal. On the plus side, he wasn't engaging the man, or his normal companion with anything resembling conversation. He let the cancer fill his lungs for a bit before he dropped the remains to the floor, smothering them with his shoe.
