Pillows

[Kaylee Frye]

*Kaylee had finished up for the day. Serenity was sailing, and sailing fine...considering the resources she had. She made a note to bug Mal in the morning about replacing a coil, it was begining to get rusty and she didn't care for that.

She laid out on her bunk, her head on the edge, her feet on her pillows, her arms behind her head. She had changed into loose jeans, that had many patches sewed in various spots, and a flowery printed sweater. Her eyes were focused up at the cieling of her bunk*

[Simon Tam]

Simon climbed down the ladder into Kaylee's room. "Ni hao, bao-bei," he said, sitting down next to her on the bed. He kissed her on the forehead, tasting a small amount of axle grease.

He smiled his lop-sided grin at her and said, "How was your day?"

[Kaylee Frye]

*she smiled, watching him climb down the ladder. She sat up a little, resting her hands in her lap, her eyes focused on him. She smiled even more when he kissed her* 'Ey

*she gave a small shrug* Same ol', same ol' *she watched him for a moment, then shifted, leaning on him* Yours?

[Simon Tam]

He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to him. "It was alright, the usual, you know. But, it's rapidly getting better."

[Kaylee Frye]

*She nodded, smiling a little* I see

*She shut her eyes, snuggling up to him. She liked being held, it just made all her worries tend to wash away*

[Simon Tam]

Simon leaned over and kissed Kaylee on the top of her head. He didn't want the moment they were sharing to end.

"Penny for your thoughts?" he asked, brushing a strand of hair out of her face.

[Kaylee Frye]

*She blinked a little, turning to look at him. She complained they never talked, ofcourse not to him...mostly Nara and Wash, but when he made an effort, she shy'ed away* Nothing...don't worry about it *she smiled, and leaned in, kissing his cheek*

[Simon Tam]

Simon nodded. He knew something was probably on her mind, but knew better than to press it. Previous fights with Kaylee had never ended well when he didn't listen to the nagging voice in the back of his mind.

"Wanna pillow fight?"

[Kaylee Frye]

Pillow fight? *she giggled a little, wondering if he was serious* I'll win, and you know it *she smirked a little*

[Simon Tam]

"Eh, it can't hurt to try," Simon said as he produced a small red pillow, taken from his bed, and bopped her on the head with it, grinning the whole time.

[Kaylee Frye]

*she squeaked and snatched up one of her comfy, feather pillows, waking him ontop of the head with it, rolling a little to the other side of her bed*

[Simon Tam]

Simon grabbed one of the bigger pillows from her bed, after throwing the red one in his hand at her, and proceeded to hit her on the chest, stomach and legs, basically anywhere he could get her. He was laughing hard as he did this.

[Kaylee Frye]

*She hit him with her pillow, but primarily used it as a shield. Finally she sat up, and tossed the pillow aside, pushing him down on the bed, pinning him with a smirk* I win?

[Simon Tam]

Simon grinned and grabbed her quickly, flipping her over on her back on her bed, pinning her down.

He leaned close to her and said, "Not even close."

[Kaylee Frye]

Mmm...I suppose we could call it a tie *she smiled up at him*
