[Simon Tam]

He leaned down and kissed her deeply on the lips in response, savoring the kiss as long as he could.

"Could I win this one time?" he asked, breaking the kiss, whispering his question in her ear.

[Kaylee Frye]

*She moaned into the kiss, pressing her body up against his, wrapping her arms around his neck. After a moment, she nodded* You win

[Simon Tam]

Simon nodded slightly and continued kissing Kaylee, moving to her neck and cheeks, before nibbling on her earlobe. He let go of one of her wrists and placed his hand on her thigh.

[Kaylee Frye]

*she froze under him, and squirmed a little to get him off of her. She didn't know what it was, she didn't know what was going on with her. Maybe she was being emotional, maybe she simply hated the fact she couldn't talk to him, but suddenly that was the least thing she wanted to do.

She finally managed to squirm away from him, and sit on the edge of the bed. She hugged her knees to her chest, her back to him, her chin on he knee cap as she looked at her ladder, not sure what to say. She shut her eyes, afraid he was going to yell*

Simon looked at Kaylee's back, a confused muddling his features.

"Uh...Is everything alright, Kaylee?" he asked, unsure of what to do for her. "Did I do something wrong?"

[Kaylee Frye]

*She shook her head* No...*she wouldn't look at him. She took in a breath* I think...I'm gonna go stay with 'Nara...for the night *she moved to stand*

[Simon Tam]

Simon grabbed her by the hand. "I want you to tell me what's bothering you, because something obviously is."

"Please, Kaylee."

[Kaylee Frye]

I don't want to talk about it Simon...*she didn't want to because she couldnt place it. She yanked her hand away, standing quickly* I'll be...in the shuttle *She planned to spend her night crying on Inara's shoulder*

[Simon Tam]

Simon looked away from her and put his hand down by his side.

"Fine, Kaylee," he said, getting up from her bed and going past her. He began climbing the ladder. "I'll see you tomorrow then." He climbed out of her room, slightly irritated, but worried nonetheless.

[Kaylee Frye]

*She watched him climb up the ladder, and sighed. She moved up the ladder and headed for Nara's shuttle*
