Mikey smirked a bit. "Well, of course. That goes without saying."
She took the tank top off and began walking to the bathroom. "Let me get a quick shower in, before, yes?"
"Stop leerin', Lex," she said, not even looking behind her.

Lex jumped a bit when he heard Mikey say that before she disappeared into the bathroom. He had indeed been watching her as she walked away, taking in her body.
Stop it.
He shook himself and said, "Suppose I should make myself presentable." He reached down to his bed and pulled on his burgundy shirt. His favourite, and one of his father's. He ran a thin hand through his hair, making sure it was elegantly mussed and pulled on his boots.
"There, all done," he announced proudly, as though getting ready that fast was cause for a celebration or something.

*Murray's eyes jumped between the two, an evil little smirk on her face as she did. She always found it amusing, watching how boys reacted to one simple flash of skin. She blinked, raising an eyebrow at him when he annouced he was done getting dress.
Slowly, she brought her hands together, dryly clapping for him, giving him an odd look* Yay?

Lex laughed at her dry humour. "I know, I know. A bit childish of me. I remember my mother would..." he trailed off after that, a look of sadness passing over his face. It'd been six years since his parents died, and it never got any easier.
He cleared his throat and looked away. "Nevermind," he said, his voice low and small.

Mikey hopped out of the shower when the water began to get lukewarm. So in essence, about five minutes after she initially got in.
She towel rubbed her hair dry, running a brush through the now straggly strands. She pulled on her jeans and dashed into the bedroom, grabbing her strappy black tanktop from off of her bed. She pulled on her boots and grabbed her jacket.
It actually wasn't hers. It was her father's. Mikey had vague memories of him, and most of those were from what her mother told her, and her mother was dead now. For all Mikey knew, so was her father.
She shook off those thoughts. 'Tonight's going to be a celebration,' she thought. She strode back into the main room, combing her hair with her hand.

*Her face fell into a frown and she glanced to the floor. She expected it was harder talking about family...for everyone. She didn't ask, and she rarely discussed hers.
Atleast they had decent memories of their folks. She could never say that. But her parents were still alive...so she had no room to complain.*

Lex watched Mikey as she strode into the common room.
"Why do you always cover yourself up with that jacket?" he asked. "Anytime I can get a chance to see some skin, you cover it up." He said this with a lecherous grin on his face.
"Where're we going tonight, anyway? Not someplace fancy-schmancy, I hope."

How about Da Marco? *She glanced up, speaking quietly. She usually didn't suggest places where they ear, she was just grateful they could eat. But Da Marco was nice...and not to fancy. And most important of all...
...They had Carrots. Not only carrots. Carrot Cake*

She gave Lex a look and said, "You're so disgusting." She smiled at him though, and ruffled his hair, producing a small yelp from him.
"Sure, Da Marco's fine. We haven't been there in a long time, that's for sure."
She scooped up some credits and walked over to the door, opening it.

He's a guy, what more can you expect? *Murray smiled, standing from the milk crate. She walked over to Lex, her hands behind her back. She gave him a smile, reaching out to pat his cheek, before moving to follow Mikey*

Mikey let out a laugh at the exchange between them. "This is very true," she said, winking at Lex.
She followed Murray out of the flat and tossed the key behind her towards Lex. "Be a dear and lock up for us, will you?"
She knew it would get on his nerves and that was what she loved to do.

"Oi!" Lex exclaimed when Murray patted his cheek and walked out with Mikey. "That's not right, you lot." He barely missed the key hitting him in the face.
"Real nice, Mikey," he said, sarcasm in his voice. He shut the door behind him and locked it, pocketing the key. He ran up after them, placing his arms around both of their shoulders as the three of them walked down the alley.
