*Shay pushed his shoulder against the door, his elbow pushing down on the door's handle, it opening slightly. He put more force against it, side stepping inside, his arms full. His hair was covering his face, so much that he could barely see, and what he did was tinted a sandy brown.
Once he was inside, he immediatly set the various crates and bags down, his hand reaching back to shut the door. He took in a breath* Bre! *He said loud enough to get attention, waiting a few seconds for a reply. Once he heard foot steps down a stair well, he smiled, a little girl running at him. He scooped her up the moment he could, tossing her up in the air, catching her when she came down, knowing she loved the feeling of 'flying'. He smirked, pressing a kiss to her cheek, before setting her down* Take these in'a kitchen, please? *He motioned to the bags sitting ontop of the crate. Once she scooped them up, wabbling towards the kitchen, he scooped the crate up himself, heading for the cellar where they kept most of their rations. Food stock's were harder to get the farther you got from the Core, but they managed. He had enough food to last them for quite sometime, which would be handy if they ever decided to take a trip off planet.
He set the crates down in the cellar, it pitch dark inside, before heading back out*

*Danica sat cross legged on the floor, staring at the pieces scattered about in front of her. She was looking for a specific piece, the one she needed before she could continue in rebuilding the piece of engine she'd taken apart to fix, not that it needed it. Bre at the other side of the room playing. She'd occasionally look up from her work to check on her daughter, push her glasses up and continue working in her own little world. She spotted the piece she needed and slipped it into place, smiling as she did. She continued her work, looking up when she heard Bre scampering across the floor*

*Soon enough, he stepped into the small room that could only really be called their living room. He tilted his head at Dan, his arms crossing* So what was it 'fore you ripped it 'part?

*She fit another piece in easily, wrapping the loose end around gently before snatching up another piece to fit in with the last* Piece of the broken engine. *She looked up at him and smiled, her glasses sliding down to the tip of her nose* I figure that it'd be a much better use of my spare time to fix it piece by piece so I don't miss anything. *She nodded and smiled again* Just in case.

*He nodded. It made sense to him he supposed. He moved over, careful not to step on any of the peices, before leaning down and kissing the top of her head* Whatever makes you happy, Danny *He gave her a smile, moving over to flop on the cushions in the corner of the floor. He shut his eyes, placing his hands on his stomach* Was Brighid good today?

*She smiled and pushed her glasses back up, setting the partially completed part down gently to reorganize the remaining pieces* No flowers for me, just give me something broken and you've found your way to my heart. *She smirked and picked up a small piece, dusting it off* She was very good, colored most of the time. *She looked up again* Was Shay good today?

Oh well, anything having to do with Rolnick is very rarely good. *She smirked* But since theres pineapple involved, I'll let it slide. Unless you'd like me to administer punishment.

*He opened one eye* Depends on the punishment *He shifted a little, scooting over so she'd have room if she decided to join him. He patted the cushions with a smirk*

*She smiled and set her work down carefully, moving over the pieces on her tiptoes and sat slowly on the cushon next to him* Well, if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it? *She slid her legs down next to his, laying on her stomach* But it'll be a punishment to remember. I'm very good at punishments. *She smirked*

I'm well aware *He chuckled, his hand reaching out to stroke her cheek gently* I suppose a punishment would be fine later this evening. When the little 'bit isn't in the next room *He could hear Bre putting things away in the kitchen like a good little girl*

Best prepare yourself love. *She smiled and pushed a bit of her hair behind her ear* I should have the broken engine up and running by tomorrow. Just a few more parts I need to fix and it'll be set for whenever we need it. *She smiled again*
