Not to do it? *she giggled a little, moving over to him. She brushed her past his as she walked by, smirking a little* But when have I been on to listen? Hmm? *she gave a little grin, before moving over to sit down. She flopped down, her legs spread apart. She placed her hands between her legs, resting them on the chair as she glanced at the floor*
We goin' to a party *she glanced up, lookin' to him* Should look nice...maybe put on a tie. *she tilted her head a little*

"It's not a party. It's a job," Jayne corrected her, trying desperately not to stare at her spread legs. He resorted to putting more polish on Vera than he normally would, rubbing the metal hard through the rag.
"Did Mal tell ya what you'd be doin' while you was with us?"

"Always," he responded, finally putting the oil and the rag away. He picked up each of his guns, to make sure they were adequate. He began the long process of reattaching all of his weapons to his body. He put one long barreled gun in its holster on his right thigh and another one in the left holster. He tucked a small one in the small of his back and sheathed his knife. All he had to do now was bring backup bullets for them.
He saw River staring at all the artillery he was putting away and grinned slightly. "You know how to use one of these?" he asked as he picked up Vera.

Don't like guns...they faulty. But...no, I do not. Not standard military weapon. *she shrugged her shoulders a little, eyeing the weapon as he held it.*
But maybe, you could show me one night? *she emphasized the word night, and gave a hopeful smile*

Jayne just stared at River, the emphasis on 'night' was not missed by him. 'What's she playin' at?' he thought, as softly as he could.
Two could play at that. He grinned a little and decided to go along with this...at least until he could figure out her little game. He stretched slightly, the fabric of his t-shirt tight against his muscular frame. He walked over and leaned down next to her, getting as close as he could without invading her personal space. River had a bad habit of lashing out at those that did. He was close enough, however, to be able to smell her shampoo. It smelled like jasmine.
"Jus' name the date," he half whispered, taking in her scent. He straightened up and added, louder this time, "I could show ya know if you'd like?"

*She inhaled slowly. He was close, very close, and that sent chills up her spine. She shut her eyes, listening to him, barely able to hear him. She took in another breath, before turning in her seating, eying him slightly*
Tonight? Now isn't enough time, I wouldn't be satisfied with a quick lesson *she smirked at him, resting her hand on the top of her chair*

Jayne raised his eyebrow a bit but continued. He subtlely moved closer to her, so close he could feel her small breaths on his skin. A small shudder went down his spine at that feeling.
'Startin' t' lose it,' a small voice warned him.
He realised she was still waiting for a response to her inquiry. "T'night works fine," he said. "I can give you a thorough lesson then."
"What time?"

Soon as were back from the mission. Long as everythin' goes well *she smiled, then stood*
See you on the mule *she then pranced off, headin' in the direction of her bunk*

Jayne watched her walk away from him, as graceful as she was when she had first entered the room.
As soon as she was gone, he sat down quickly at the table and buried his face in his hands. "O zhe zhen shi ge kuai le de jin zhan," he muttered, clenching his fingers against his face. "That was so ruttin' stupid."
He took a few deep breaths and realised he could still smell her shampoo in the air. He closed his eyes and breathed a little deeper, emitting a small shuddering breath.
'I hope what I think's happenin' ain't,' he thought, running a hand through his short dark hair. 'Else there'll be some hell t'pay.'

You alright Jayne? *she stepped into the dining hall, in full gear. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and she had a gun strapped to each leg, her favorite held protectivly in her hand. She raised an eyebrow at him*

Jayne jumped slightly at Zoe's voice.
"Uh, yeah," he stuttered, jumping up quickly, grabbing Vera as he stood. "Jus'...tactical plannin'...in case anythin' goes wrong. Y'know?"

"Alright. Gimme a second and I'll be down there," he responded, walking off in the direction of his bunk.
"I'll be in my bunk!" he shouted back to her from halfway down the hall.
